Marsala; How to incorporate the colour of the year into your make up

Pantones colour of the year for 2015 is Marsala(its prettier than it sounds)! It's a beautiful warm wine shade with a hint of brown that translates beautifully to makeup. I've done a bit of research into why and how Pantone chooses the color of the year and putting it into my own words seems a bit daunting so I've decided to link to a simple article explaining just this incase you were interested. Want to learn how to incorporate this beautiful colour into your makeup routine? Read below.
  •  For inspiration I first decided to look in my kit; if I have the product already even better. I can vouch for the product and how much I love it! Urban Decays Naked 3 is a beautiful palette made up of twelve rose-hued naturals. It has a mix of matte and shimmered shades, ranging from highlights to contour colours. Interested? Head into Sephora to test it out!

  • If you're looking for something a bit darker.. why not try Black Current 520 with Rebel lipstick.

  • I have quite a few MAC lipsticks in my kit, and Rebel lipstick is a beautiful shade!

  • Makeup Forevers blush in English Rose 320 is a beautiful lighter choice to apply with a lighter lip.

  • Check out Clinques chubby stick in Amped Up Apple for a softer, but still in colour.

  • I am a nail polish hoarder, and OPI's classic Malaga Wine is such a beautiful dark rich color.

LOVE the colour of the year? Why not incorporate it into your daily routine or wedding?
